Ellis Mirsky is engaged virtually full-time in the management and growth of The Network of Trial Law Firms, Inc., an international association of some of the leading trial and litigation law firms in the United States and Canada. Ellis co-founded the organization with partners from the Beirne Maynard & Parsons law firm in 1992 after seeing the success of other cooperative organizations of clients, insureds and law firms.
Ellis is available only on a limited basis for non-routine special assignments where his creative and analytic skills can make a difference.
Past assignments include testifying over a 15-year period as an expert witness in insurance coverage lawsuits arising from mass tort claims; litigation risk analysis for companies facing mass tort and other repetitive and one-of-a-kind litigation with complicated insurance coverage pictures (assessable mutuals, insolvent insurers); and transactional work for technology companies (ISPs, outsourcing companies, software and application developers).
